Bazant Unique Adornments
“Everyone loves a story. Which will be yours to tell?”
Lara Bazant, designer and artisan, has been collecting rare materials and transforming them into wearable art for fifteen years. In 2006 she launched Bazant Unique Adornments. As a unifying theme, every line incorporates some element of the color black. It is the starting point for each design.
Bazant Unique Adornments operates in a manner that is ethical and "green". This means that international beads are collected from their original source in a manner that protects and provides income to those who make them. It also means recycling vintage jewelry into new designs. Lara travels across the globe to source materials, and hand sculpts each piece in her Toronto studio.
Lara earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University. She is currently a member of the Ontario Arts Council, Green Enterprise Toronto, and the Canadian Associate of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs.
